Planning, building & planting your complete outdoor space
Creating a cohesive living space requires the same understanding of design which ever style you choose. Achieving balance in planting the right heights, shades, and tones adding contrasting colours.
Creating the right living spaces, dining terraces, shelter from rain or shade from the heat, to visualise & understand where the hard-standing ends and the planting begins. Knowing which plants are the right plants for your personal tastes and your garden’s requirements.

A new chapter: In 2019 I studied garden design with The British Academy of Garden Design, Westminster, London. Obtaining a national diploma level 3, with distinction.
PLANNING

Initially I will arrange a consultation on site. Here we can fully understand the property and your ideas, thoughts and desire for your future garden. Here you can share with me your personal objectives and we can evaluate design considerations.

SURVEY

Once the design proposal has been accepted, the following step is a full site analyse covering all aspects of the garden, the soil type, the topography throughout the garden & to identify and avoid any clear obstacles.

DESIGN

I will take the time to fully comprehend the brief to create a concept garden plan that meets your requirements. We will work together to keep within the proposed budget. Once I have your approval for the concept design I can move on to creating the far more detailed working plan.

COMPLETION

I always aim to complete the project on time and within budget. Being a perfectionist, I only work to the highest standard. Where possible I like to work closely with my clients to ensure that every detail is fully implemented.

PLANTING

Planting is my forte. With extensive knowledge in plants. Identifying the right plant for the right style of garden. The right plant in the right place. How plants pair with each other, understanding staging, flow & balance within the flowerbeds whilst considering their growing nature. I thoroughly enjoy creating planting schemes. Some which can bring calm to the onlooker or some which can excite. Selecting colour schemes with appropriate tones to set the intended mood for their setting. How to make a space feel more open and spacious or to create comfort from enclosure and coziness.
